Building positive relationships
T: Telephone02 6925 4403
The program aims to prepare students for life outside of school as they move into the workforce. It helps them develop the skills to create a resume, apply for jobs and prepare for interviews.
It also makes them aware of the huge range of different occupations available and the type of jobs that would suit them and that would interest them.
They research the skills needed for various occupations and visit different job sites to see what is involved.
Work placements gives students the opportunity to experience a range of work places and professions and put the skills they have learnt at school into practice.
Older students attend work experience one day a week at various times throughout the year.
