Class 2 will hold a fundraising bake sale Friday 7th April (last day of term 1) . Class 2 have been researching Africa and have found out that every 20 seconds a child dies from diarrhoea caused by drinking dirty water. They have also discovered that people in the villages walk 6 hours each day to collect water to drink, bathe and cook with and that this water is dirty and makes them sick. It costs $8000 to build a small well in a village and $32000 to build a large well. Class 2 will choose a charity that helps to provide wells and all funds raised will help a village have access to clean water.
